Mary Ogle

Mary has served as our Chief Executive Officer since 2011. In her time with us she has taken A New Leaf from an $800,000 organization to a $12.4M organization, from 20 employees to over 280 employees and from $1,000,000 in net assets to over $22,000,000. Before coming to A New Leaf Mary worked for the American Red Cross, serving for 15 years across the country.
Mary is originally from Ohio and has a master’s degree in comparative politics, is a member of Leadership Oklahoma Class XXI and has lived and studied in Tel Aviv, Israel. She currently lives in Claremore with her dogs and horses, and her hobbies include running, reading and, of course, gardening!
Kate Schlichter

Kate is our Chief Administration Officer and oversees both Human Resources and Operations. She has worked in the local and national nonprofit community in administration and executive leadership for over 20 years in Oklahoma, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. Kate’s passion is helping employees find their personal career paths and grow professionally. During her time at A New Leaf, Kate has grown our employee footprint from 80 employees to over 280 employees and has also grown our organization’s physical footprint by 125%.
Kate has called Oklahoma her home for 18 years, raising her two daughters as Okies with her husband of over 20 years. In her free time, Kate enjoys time with her family and can usually be found running from one sports/robotics activity to another, or as she likes to say, ‘I’m a free Uber driver for my kids!’
Nicki Soma

Nicki has been with A New Leaf since 2016 and serves as our Chief Financial Officer. In her role, Nicki oversees all the accounting and financial functions of our organization. She holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Northeastern State University. Nicki began her career at a large corporation where she worked in many different accounting roles over 17 years before transitioning to the nonprofit sector. She is honored to work for A New Leaf and to help make a difference in the lives of the wonderful people we serve.
Nicki is an Oklahoma native and is raising two teenage boys. In her spare time you can find her spending time with her family, on the golf course or supporting her boys in their many sporting activities.
Tammie Lewis

Tammie is our Chief Programs Officer and has been with us since 2013. Tammie oversees our Residential Services, Vocational Services, Behavior Support Services and our Transition Academy. After spending several years working in the horseracing industry, Tammie has worked in the nonprofit sector for the last 24 years in both local and national organizations, and the last 17 of those years in senior leadership roles. She is passionate not only about serving our clients, but also by being a servant leader to our staff who work so diligently to help our clients live their best lives!
Tammie has been married for 30 years to her husband Ben. They have three children, two amazing grandchildren, two horses and a donkey. Tammie is passionate about decorating her home with help from Hobby Lobby!
Maranda Figueroa

Maranda is currently the Chief Development Officer of A New Leaf. She has served in the nonprofit sector in development and executive leadership for 14 years working in both national and local organizations. During the past six years at A New Leaf, she has established and grown a development team of 5 and scaled fundraising from $750,000 to $2.4M annually plus co-led a capital campaign with our CEO, Mary Ogle of $20M+ for The Village.
Prior to her work in nonprofit, she was a food scientist with Sara Lee and Schwans. A graduate of Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and an avid music fan, she enjoys time with her husband and three children usually at their activities including baseball, volleyball, softball, and karate. After serving in development roles at national nonprofits for a number of years, an opportunity presented itself to make an impact within A New Leaf, a Tulsa area nonprofit.
